You can now stay up to date with all things related to CT Live by just using CT Live. Every-time you log into CT-Live, we check to see if your account has unread Release Notes. If you have unread Release Notes, you'll see a simple green light in the Event menu.
Clicking a Release Note will take you to our Knowledge-base where a full write up along with links to more detailed KB articles may be provided.
This Release Note section is always available, and never goes away. You may easily acknowledge Release Notes by either reading them 1 by 1 or by clicking Mark All as Seen
Note: If you are sharing an account amongst multiple people, acknowledging a Release Note will acknowledge it for all users. We HIGHLY suggest separate accounts for each User.
We have 3 Types of Release Notes:
- Defect Fix - Something wasn't working as intended, and now it does.
- Enhancement - We took something that is working, and it's now even better.
- New Feature - We have added a new exciting thing to CT Live
Major Release
In addition to these 3 Types, we can also denote Major Releases. These are typically things that could impact you're existing work flows, or greatly contribute to what an Event can take advantage of. Major Release will show up as a Captive Modal so these big changes are in your Face.
We will only show a pop-up modal for Major Releases that have been released within the past 30 days, but they'll always be accessible in the Release Notes Section.
