That’s why we’re excited to introduce a new Gun Time vs. Chip Time explainer within Microsite Results.
What’s New
- The primary time displayed at the top of the Results page is determined by the race’s Overall Rank Type.
- The secondary time will display the other time type. For example, when Chip Time is primary, Gun Time will be secondary.
- An information icon now appears next to the secondary time.
- Selecting the icon opens a new modal that explains the difference between Gun Time and Chip Time and shows the athlete’s applicable start times.
