Event Organizations Are Easier to Create
CT Live already has thousands of Event Organizations, but that doesn’t mean we’re full!
While we’re currently focused on delivering the best possible experience for Timers, Event Directors remain an important part of CT Live. We’ve made it easier to bring new Event Organizations—and the people who manage them—into the platform.
What’s New?
During the Event Creation flow, you can now either select an existing Event Organization or create a brand-new one.
These options are available when you:
- Create a New Event
- Clone an Event
How Does a New Event Director Get Access?
When you create a new Event Organization, you—the person creating it—will automatically receive Event Manager access. This means you’ll be able to manage the Organization’s Users in the future.
You’ll also have the opportunity to invite Event Directors during the Event Organization creation process.
Why Invite an Event Organization to CT Live?
Giving an Event Organization access allows the Event Org team to:
- Access and manage their Event in CT Live
- Manage Users
- Manage their Microsite, including Sponsors, Schedules, Locations, and Branding
This gives Event Directors more control over their Event while allowing Timers to remain connected and involved.
Can I Create a New Timing Organization?
No. New Timing Organizations still need to be created by our Support Team.
If you need one created, please contact ChronoTrack Support.
