Introduction
In this article you will learn how to create URLs for linking to Athlete results. Beyond this being an easy way to keep track of athlete results data, you can also create QR codes from these URLs and print them on bibs. These QR codes can be used for both dynamic bib assignment and for athletes to access their results in your event.
This update ensures that your QR code works even if your Athlinks Parent Event or Athlinks Event changes.

Building and Sharing IRP URLs

Event-Level ERP (Event Results Page) Link:
- To take users directly to the leaderboard for an event, use this format:
athlinks.com/azp/ctlive/event/XXXXX
where "XXXXX" is the CT Live event ID. - For example, if I wanted to send a link to the 2024 Lifetime Marathon ERP, I would send out this link: https://athlinks.com/azp/ctlive/event/71633 because 71633 is the CT Live event ID.

- To direct an athlete to their specific IRP based on their bib number, use this format:

where "XXXXX" is the CT Live event ID and "YYY" is the athlete's bib number. - For example, if the CT Live Event ID is

and the athlete’s bib number is678

. - For relay teams, use this format, but enter the team bib instead of the athlete bib. The IRP will display the relevant data for each team member linked to that bib.

Displaying the Athlinks Result QR Code on bibs allows the following:
- A volunteer may use PickUp to scan the QR code to assign the bib number to the athlete:

Handling Problems and Errors
Problem: Athlinks page gives "event not found" error when I navigate to my ERP URL.
Solution: Ensure that the CT Live event is correctly linked with the Athlinks platform, and the event ID is correct.

Solution: Ensure that the bib number is properly assigned to an athlete in the CT Live event.
Question: What happens in the case of multiple athletes sharing the same bib number in an event?
Answer: When the user goes to that URL they will be prompted to select which athlete they want to view.
