Introduction
Event Directors can now use the CT Pickup feature to determine which athletes have checked in for an event, and to expediently check in and assign bibs to athletes. This can be done for athletes that registered through CT Live, as well as any that are imported via .CSV file, or added in the Athlete > Add Athlete tool.

Initial Configuration
In CT Live 1.0 the Pickup page is available from among the primary tabs:
To reach the Pickup dashboard from within CT Live 2.0, choose Registration > CT Pickup. Here you will find an overview of the check in progress broken down by race.
To launch the CT Pickup user interface which will be the dashboard for volunteers, choose LINK TO CHECKIN in the Check-in settings section (1). Alternatively, you can scan the QR code (2) and enter the 6 Digit Authorization Code to access the user interface from another device.
Within the Check-in Settings section in CT Live, you will find the Check-in Modal options that allows you to adjust what information is displayed when an athlete entry is pulled up in the CT Pickup user interface. Finally, you can adjust the open and close time frame for check-in at the bottom of this screen.
Checking in Athletes
Once you have launched the CT Pickup user interface, you will be prompted to login. Enter your name and the 6-digit authorization code from the CT Pickup admin page, and choose Submit to navigate to the Check-in dashboard.
From here you can enter either an athlete name or bib number into the search field to pull that athlete up. If registration went through CT Live, you can use the camera feature to scan the QR code in the athlete's confirmation email.
Choose CHECK-IN to mark that athlete as having checked in. This will open a window giving the details of that athlete based on what options you selected in the Check-In modal on the CT Pickup admin page.
Here again, you can either manually enter a bib number, or you can use the camera feature to scan a QR code if bibs have QR codes printed on them.
Once you have entered a bib or scanned a code, choose CHECK-IN to confirm. You will be taken back out to the CT Pickup dashboard, and a confirmation message will display at the top of the screen.
Now that the bib has been assigned and that athlete has been checked in, the CT Pickup dashboard will reflect those changes by showing the athlete's bib number in place of the "CHECK-IN" button.
You can remove an athlete's checked-in status by clicking the button with the check mark. In the window that pops up, choose UNCHECK-IN. That athlete is now shown as not having checked in, and their bib has been unassigned.
Offline Mode
If a device loses internet access, CT Pickup will continue to function in offline mode. Any athletes you check in will be logged on that device, and their check-in details saved. You will see a banner if the device is offline, warning that it is offline, and telling you how many changes have been made that have not been synced to CT Pickup.
Once the device goes online, all the check-in data on that device will automatically sync with CT Pickup.
If the device does not go back online, or you need the data before it's able to get online again, you can choose EXPORT to download the data into a CSV file. That data can be uploaded to CT Live on a device that is online. CT Live has matching tags for the columns in the CSV file which will automatically be selected when you go to import as an Athlete Import.
Be sure to map Checkin Status value "1" to "Yes":
Take note that if you close the browser on a device that is in offline mode, you will lose all data that was checked in by that device while it was offline mode.
Check-in Data
As discussed, the CT Pickup admin page has an overview of the check in progress broken down by race. You can also find data relating to check-in through an individual athlete's changelog and the Athlete Report.
In CT Live 2.0, you have access to an athlete's changelog, showing all changes that have been made to an athlete since registration. Check-in changes will show up here, and it will also indicate which user made the change.
The Athlete Report can be modified to show checkin status and checkin time.
