Have you ever needed to delete a Race? What should be a simple task previously required a lot of manual cleanup. We’ve made some major improvements!
Previous Method
Before deleting a Race, you had to manually "clean your Event" by removing:
- Registration Choices
- Timing Points
- Intervals
- Timing Devices
- MIDs
- Athletes
- Teams

New Method
- Deleting a Race is now much easier! A Race can be deleted as long as there are no Entries associated with the Registration Choices connected to it. Timing Devices, MIDs, Intervals, and other Race configurations no longer need to be removed first.
Why Did We Work on this?
- Instead of adding unnecessary complexity to our upcoming Event Cloning tool, we improved the underlying Race deletion process; making both Cloning and Race management simpler.
