Setting a Gun Start
To set a Gun Start on a MiniTrack controller:
- Simply press the black Gun Start button near the front of the left side of the controller.
- A Gun Start creates a time stamp immediately upon pressing the button.
- You will hear an acknowledging beep, and the display will show a confirmation that a Gun Start time stamp was created and the time at which it was created.
You may press the create multiple Gun Start time stamps within the same data session.
Setting a Marker
Setting a marker will create a new session of data on the MiniTrack controller and isolate any previously collected tag reads from any future reads. This is useful for scenarios such as Wave starts where you would like to keep each wave's data separate.
To set a Marker on a MiniTrack controller: (any firmware version)
- Press Menu > 1 > 2 > 1.
- You will hear an acknowledging beep, and the display will show a confirmation that a Marker was created and the time at which it was created.
