Event Archiving (events over 4 years old)
Starting Sept. 10, 2024, ChronoTrack will begin archiving events that have a start date occurring more than 4 years ago. When an Event is archived, all data for the event is sent to storage and kept safe until needed again. We do this to ensure system performance under heavy usage with the vast amounts of data on our platform.
Chip Timing Data (events over 6 months old)
In late 2018, we began archiving tag reads for CT Live events older than 6 months to improve our calculation engine across the board. When an event is archived, all of the tag reads in the event are removed from the calculation engine and preserved in a storage environment.
