How to Stream Data with Fusion
Introduction
If you want to set up a Fusion event and get your Streams ready before race day, but you won't be using the same computer to actually stream the data, you can go ahead and set up the event in Fusion, then export the event, copy it to a USB drive and then import the event into a different instance of Fusion running on a different computer.
If you're scoring your race in CT Live, you can use the process for copying a CT Live event described in the article linked above!
Export the Event
Once you've added all your Streams to an Event Space, click the Event Name, then click the export icon as shown here:
When the export is complete, go to the location noted in the "Export Complete" message. You'll see a file named the same as your event (e.g. "youreventname.event"). Copy the .event file to a USB drive and then plug the USB drive into the computer you want to copy the event to.
Import the Event
In Fusion on the other computer, click the + icon and select Import Event > Event From File, then locate the .event file, select it, and click Open. After a few moments, you will see an "Import Complete" message.
