Introduction
Aggregate Intervals allow you to take two or more normal Intervals and SUM their rounded times and display the resulting time and pace in online results and on the Awards Report. One scenario where this would be useful is a "King of the Hill" type race where awards are given only for certain segments of the race. If the race had three hills and awards are being given for best cumulative time for all three, Aggregate Intervals will help!
You'll likely use Split type Intervals as part of Aggregate Intervals, but both Split and Course type Intervals can be used.
Configuring Aggregate Intervals
First, configure your Course as you normally would for the event, then add Split type Intervals for each portion of the course that needs to be included in the Aggregate Interval.

In this example, the course has three hills which are being aggregated to give the award times for the race:
Now, click the + Aggregate Interval button. In the window that appears, enter a name for the Aggregate, select if the Aggregate should be calculated (Wants Ranking), and check Publish if its results should be visible in online results.
Next, select the preferred Pace Unit, and select the Intervals that will be used in the Aggregate. Click Complete & Save when you're done.
Aggregate Intervals can also be created before you set up the rest of the Course. When you make new Intervals, you can check the box for an existing Aggregate Interval it should be assigned to.
Aggregate Intervals in Results
In Online Results, Aggregate Intervals will appear at the top of an Athlete's list of Splits.
In the Awards Report, you can select an Aggregate Interval as the Award Interval which can be displayed in Panels:
This example shows all Ranked Intervals, and the Award Time is correctly calculating based on the included Intervals.
